5-Year Eagle Point Solar Workmanship Warranty

Eagle Point Solar provides a 5-year workmanship warranty for every client for whom it installs a solar array. The 5-year period begins on the date of commissioning. This warranty covers the work related to the installation of a solar array and completed by Eagle Point Solar.

Solar Panel Warranty

Eagle Point Solar partners with a wide range of premium solar panel equipment manufactures from around the world. Warranties vary by solar module type and manufacturer but often provide a minimum 10-year manufacturer defect warranty and a minimum 25-year solar production warranty.

Inverter Warranty

Eagle Point Solar partners with industry leading inverter and microinverter equipment manufacturers. Warranties vary by model and manufacturer but often provide a minimum of a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Extended 20 and 25 year warranties can often be purchased within a certain period based on manufacturer and model type.

Annual Remote Performance Diagnostic Testing and Analysis Agreement

Perform a scheduled, remote 12-month review of energy production and system performance including hardware firmware updates as needed.

Deliver detailed report of findings, including performance recommendations and monitoring review.

Annual Site Review Inspection & Preventative Maintenance Agreement

Perform a scheduled, preventative site inspection and general maintenance on PV system(s). Ensure site has no visible ground or roof damage which may cause a decline in performance. (i.e. water runoff channeling, debris, roof penetration, ground settling etc.) Includes Remote Performance Diagnostic Testing and Analysis.

Deliver detailed report of findings, including recommendations for site improvements and/or repair, upkeep and system performance.

Vegetation Removal and Spot Cleaning Agreement

Clearing/maintaining of vegetation (roof or ground array) which may cause potential shading and/or equipment damage. Clean array (where necessary) to remove unwanted dust or dirt buildup which could cause loss in system performance. This service can be contracted on an annual basis or simply notify Eagle Point Solar on an “As Needed” basis.


Firmware Update(s)

Periodically inverter, microinverter and communications unit manufacturers may introduce a firmware update. This is merely an update to the software which resides in the hardware of the electronic equipment regulating your solar array. Firmware updates can often be conducted remotely (dependent upon manufacturer). Eagle Point Solar monitors manufacture firmware releases and can alert you when an update is necessary. Upon your approval, the update can be installed for a minimal service fee.

Active Response to System Alerts

An Eagle Point Solar Service & Support Technician can be scheduled and dispatched to troubleshoot your array should you receive a system alert. Should on-site repair be necessary, rest assured our NABCEP certified teams are efficient and can quickly diagnose and/or make the necessary repairs to maintain critical system uptime.

Warranty Repair and Fulfillment

In the rare event a manufacturer warranty claim in necessary on faulty equipment, Eagle Point Solar can work directly with the manufacturer to process, order, track, deliver and install the necessary equipment. It is our goal to quickly process the claim and have your solar array fully functioning with minimal downtime. Solar Array Expansion

It is not uncommon to choose to expand your solar array due to increased energy usage. Solar owners continually find more ways to take advantage of low-cost solar energy to power their homes and businesses. Eagle Point Service and Support can work with you to evaluate your existing system and provide everything you need to expand. Note: We can work with any system, regardless if you’re an existing Eagle Point Solar client.
