Service and Support for Your Solar Array - Eagle Point Solar

Service and Support for Your Solar Array

Eagle Point Solar trucks ready for serviceYour new Eagle Point Solar array has been installed, you have received a walkthrough and an Owner’s Manual, so why do you need service and support?

Solar equipment is designed to last for decades and includes manufacturer warranties to reassure you of this longevity. However, there are reasons why you may find yourself in need of service and support on your solar array at some point during the lifespan of the system. At Eagle Point Solar, we have a dedicated team of service and support experts to help provide answers to your solar or solar + storage questions when you’re experiencing problems with your system, request replacement parts, seeking to add to your existing system or your installer is no longer in business and you need repair assistance.

Monitoring/Internet Issues

Solar array monitoring provides you with real-time performance data of your system’s production. The web-based monitoring relies on a stable internet connection to provide you with solar production results on demand. Changes to your internet provider, router, and loss of an internet connection are the most common occurrences why your monitoring portal may not display accurate production information or report as expected.

In most cases, it is as simple as restarting a device or updating software. An Eagle Point Solar Service and Support Technician can quickly guide you through solutions to correcting a monitoring issue, often remotely, and have your system accurately reporting in no time.

Roof Replacement

Our service and support department can work with you to schedule an un-install and re-install of your existing solar array, whether you are an Eagle Point Solar client or not. Our teams will coordinate with your roofing contractor to limit the amount of solar production loss and ensure your manufacturer warranties remain intact.

Solar modules are stored onsite during a roof replacement and installed with new roof attachments. Once the reinstallation is completed, our team completes a detailed quality and safety inspection and performance trial before recommissioning your array.

Selling or Purchasing Property

If you find yourself selling or purchasing a home, farm, or business with solar, Eagle Point Solar service and support experts can help you complete warranty transfer documents, set up access to online monitoring, and transfer any ongoing incentives tied to the array. For those new to solar or looking to learn more about their solar energy system, we can set up an “Intro to Solar” in-person or Zoom online session.

If the system is an Eagle Point Solar array, requesting an Owner’s Manual is another way to learn the details of the solar energy system which can easily be passed to future owners. Keep in mind, we can also increase the solar production capacity of the existing system by adding more panels should the consumption of electricity increase at the residence or business.

Accidents & Natural Disasters

While solar equipment is designed and engineered to withstand fluctuating temperatures, high winds, hail and other weather-related occurrences, the equipment is not indestructible. Accidents do happen and can damage any of the components of a solar array. With a combination of equipment warranties, homeowner’s, or business insurance you will most likely have minimal or no out-of-pocket replacement or maintenance costs. An Eagle Point Solar Service and Support Technician can provide assistance to be certain you are back up and generating renewable, sustainable electricity with minimal downtime.

Array Additions

Has your consumption of electricity increased, and you want to further lower your electric bill? In most cases, a solar array is expandable. Depending on the design and available space, you can consider adding additional solar modules and/or components to further offset your increased electricity usage. An Eagle Point Solar Service and Support Technician can help you determine the best options to achieve your energy production goals and build a customized solution for adding to your existing array.

Warranty Repairs

If your solar array is not working properly, our service and support team of North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) can diagnose the problem and provide you with solutions. Most issues can be determined remotely before visiting your site. Replacement component parts and service and support labor are often covered under your manufacturer warranty, homeowners’ or business insurance.

Whether you are an Eagle Point Solar client, inherited an existing solar array or purchased from another provider, we’re here to serve you and ensure your solar array continues to provide decades of worry-free renewable energy production.
