Tribute to Heroes Breakfast & Flag Raising Ceremony

Eagle Point Solar is proud to be the Main Event Sponsor of the Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival’s Tribute to Heroes Breakfast & Flag Raising Ceremony – one of our favorite events of the year.

This is a morning worth waking up early for. On Tuesday, June 30th, the community will come together to honor four remarkable local heroes – Gerald Wegmann, Crystal Ellis, Kim Heeren, and Harold Hopp – individuals who have gone above and beyond in service to others. The ceremony also features a flag raising that serves as a powerful reminder of the freedoms we celebrate and the people who help protect them.

At Eagle Point Solar, we believe in the communities we serve, and events like this are a perfect example of what makes Eastern Iowa so special. We are honored to help make this morning possible.
