Donation, Sponsorship and Volunteer Guidelines
All requests will be evaluated by the Acts of Sunshine volunteer committee based on the information provided. Incomplete forms will not be considered. A minimum of 30 days is required for sponsorship considerations.
Eagle Point Solar and the Acts of Sunshine volunteer committee reserve the right to deny any and all requests (Donation, Sponsorship or Volunteer participation) by any and all parties regardless of whether they meet or do not meet the criteria noted herein. Eagle Point Solar and the Acts of Sunshine volunteer committee also reserve the right to provide in-kind contributions in lieu of cash requests for organizations that meet the criteria as set forth in this policy.
Donation, Sponsorship and Volunteer Policy
Consideration will be given to the financial/volunteer need(s) of each request, based on the following:
•The requesting organization’s sources of support.
•The overall impact to the community or communities served.
•The overall positive impact on Eagle Point Solar’s client(s) and/or staff.
•The size or amount of the donation/sponsorship/volunteer request.
•Availability of funds, volunteers and/or donation materials such as; in-kind Eagle Point Solar branded swag (i.e. shirts, cups, umbrellas, hats.)
Donations, Sponsorships and Volunteer opportunities must benefit local communities, individuals or organizations considered charitable, civic, educational, recreational and/or receive the majority of their support through outside funding. Requesting entities must conduct activities in a community, or within an adjacent community, in which Eagle Point Solar conducts business. For-profit and non-profit businesses may apply.
Eagle Point Solar and the Acts of Sunshine volunteer committee will NOT consider contributions to the following:
•Sponsor(s) of or to political or partisan organizations.
•Religious groups or religion-based organizations.
•Organizations/individuals/small group(s) seeking to enhance their personal branding, messaging or targeting of selective individuals or groups.
•Individual teams or smaller sports organizations that do not benefit a large segment of the community and/or do not involve participation by a member of the Eagle Point Solar staff, channel partner(s) or preferred vendor(s).
•Organizations/individuals/small group(s) seeking funds for personal or individual endeavors.
•Organizations/individuals/small group(s) seeking monetary gain from “Go-Fund-Me” style of campaigns.
•Benefit fundraisers which are not a direct connection to Eagle Point Solar cleints, staff, channel partner(s) or preferred vendor(s).
•Those organizations/individuals/small group(s) where funds would be used for the purpose of building assets, capital or paying debt.
•Those capable of supporting themselves.
•Organizations/individuals/small group(s) which are not representative of the communities where Eagle Point Solar conducts business.
•Organizations/individuals/small group(s) with a mission and/or values which do not align with Eagle Point Solar’s mission, culture, branding or value statement.
