Dear ISETA Members & Solar Champions –
Thanks to the efforts of countless solar energy representatives at events, town hall meetings and other outreach all across the state, an amendment was adopted yesterday to strike the section impacting solar from the Energy Omnibus Bill (Senate File 2311).
This is a victory for our association as we continue to push for a positive business and regulatory climate for solar energy growth in Iowa. However, our work is not done. The Senate Tax Reform bill, SF2383, passed last week and proposes the elimination of the state tax credit program. We need to continue outreach to the Iowa House and ask them to continue to model their tax reform bill off the Governor’s plan, which did not harm solar energy.
ISETA is proud to represent the solar industry at the Capitol with a unified voice. Your membership dollars directly help make this possible. If you have not yet renewed for 2018 or still need to join ISETA, click here for membership information. There are price points for different size companies and nonprofits, as well as an individual membership option for solar champions.
Again, thank you for support, both through your advocacy efforts and the resources you provide to help us keep fighting the good fight.
